This book has been written for those who do not know any PLC programming and want to learn or want to improve their existing PLC programming knowledge. The book has been prepared especially for those who are new to PLC programming in schools, courses, vocational high schools, colleges and universities. In this sense, the book has been prepared by considering not only students who have just started PLC programming, but also teachers who teach PLC programming.
A lot of sample code has been written on some subjects, especially for those who are new to PLC programming, to make the subjects simpler and more understandable. With the applications and simulations at the end of the chapters, it is aimed to reinforce the topics thoroughly.
The subjects start completely from scratch and aim to provide basic/intermediate PLC programming skills. The topics in the book are divided into as small and logical parts as possible and supported by examples that can be easily understood by everyone.
In order to better understand the subjects, theoretical information was given first, figures were drawn when necessary, and the subject was reinforced with sample codes and simulations. With the idea that a picture is worth a thousand words, explanations were made with visuals as much as possible.

It has been avoided to complicate matters with too much theory and verbiage. With the principle of less words, more work (code), every subject is applied and prepared in a way that everyone can understand.
